Baby Seal Stranding!

I decided to remain behind and unwind on my last day, but within 2 minutes of the group leaving, Kevin was called: Baby Seal Stranding! We quickly drove over to Crovie to find a young baby seal next to the pier. Kevin checked it out. It was healthy, bright eyed, and fat. We carried it to the edge of water where it swam away. It lingered around the pier for a while before heading east. Good LUCK little seal! Great Day! Happy ending!

P.S. A grand thank you to Kevin and the team. And Bev, you're beautiful!

Hey everyone! It's Sarah, the Alabamian, saying hello! School has started and I can't stand it. I have 16 first graders going, "Ms. Carter can I color my horse brown?.... But Ms. Carter I don't know how to tie my shoes..." There is a first grader who like to run away from school so it's always a 'on your toes' type of day!
I don't get to lay around in my Woolie Bear anymore (um, I take it mine never got ordered?! hhmmm) or have tea and cookies, oh excuse me, "biscuits" at any time of day, and what I really miss is everything that was Earthwatch and y'all. Alabama is hot, humid, and HOT and it's just not the same.
I miss everyone! Life is good though. My dogs are great, my students really are all wonderfully bright and funny, and I get to have a coke and hamburger whenever I want to! I came home and got a hot water kettle (it's the little things!) and have hot tea with my cereal each morning. What I don't have is a sandwich everyday and have laid off the cookies so my tush doesn't explode!
Much love sweet friends...you are missed and thought about often!
